What insurance is included with my rental?

Most bookings include basic coverage provided by the rental supplier. This typically includes:

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) – limits your financial responsibility if the vehicle is damaged
  • Theft Protection (TP) – covers loss or theft of the car
  • Third-Party Liability – covers damage or injury to others

Even with this coverage, you’ll still have to pay an excess, which is the amount you’ll owe if something happens to the car. This varies by supplier and vehicle type, and you’ll see it listed before you confirm your booking.
